Emily and Chad are married!

Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Boyd!! Emily and Chad got married 2 weeks ago and are hopefully settling into newlywed life! This was a fun wedding with a very fun wedding party! I usually meet the groom before the wedding but in this case since I didn’t do any engagement pictures, I met Chad just moments before he said I DO. What a nice couple. Emily and Chad are so cute! Obviously all my grooms love their brides – but this guy couldn’t stop staring at her long enough to smile for a picture! Literally, I have more pictures of him kissing her forehead or just holding her close than I do of his face! Hey, those are the BEST kinds of pictures. You can take an average picture everyday, but having natural and romantic wedding pictures is the way to go! Enjoy these from this fabulous wedding at the Westin Poinsett hotel downtown Greenville. It was a fun shoot since we got to go on the roof and take pictures near the famous “Poinsett Hotel” sign!

Kayce and Scott are engaged!

Congrats to Kayce and Scott! These two cuties are engaged and LMP is shooting their wedding in May 2013. The place where we met to do the engagement pictures is the venue where they will get married, the Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden, outside of Charlotte, NC. It is such a beautiful place!! I cannot wait to have it all to myself on the wedding day. Those pictures will be nothing short of perfection. Kayce and Scott are so cute! Although the time of day we were allowed to take these pictures was a photographers worst nightmare (1 o’oclock in the afternoon on a cloudless, sunny day), I think they turned out just to be just fabulous! It helps a lot when your subjects are good looking, too ๐Ÿ™‚ Enjoy!

Bryce is ONE!

Happy 1st birthday Bryce!! This little cutie is always fun to photograph! Many of you may remember his 6 month photographs, where he wore the little necktie and laughed the entire session! I have posted one of his 6 months shots on here so you can see it ๐Ÿ™‚ Such a sweet, beautiful little boy! We went to the Phinizy Swamp in Augusta for these pictures, and its such a cool place. We played in the wagon, ran with ballons, and of course, ate some cake…wearing a necktie! Hope you enjoy these precious photographs and happy late birthday to Bryce! Hope your first birthday was fabulous!

Little Bryce at 6 months, giggling with his “business casual” suit on

Now for a big boy Bryce at 12 months!

This is where our “big boy” realized his outfit was missing something! Trust me, the pictures make him look sadder than he really was, I just thought they were cute ๐Ÿ™‚

Back to business!ย

Kimberly and Gene – “day after shoot”

Meet Mr. and Mrs. Dukes! Mrs. Dukes is one of my best friends. I was a bridesmaid in this wedding, back in June. They absolutely loved their wedding photographer and all their photos, but wanted a few more pictures taken of just the two of them . You see, Kimberly and Gene’s wedding was one heck of a party! The new couple was eager after the “I do’s” to get straight to the party, so they feel they skimped a little on the pictures. It’s so easy for a bride to do this once you get so caught up in the excitement and wanting to see your guests. Have no fear! LMP’s new “Day After” package is here to the rescue! They redressed in their wedding attire and headed out to Boone Hall Plantation for some fun, casual photographs. This package is so much fun because there is no time constraint, and it gives wedding photographs a less formal feel. You can let your hair down, loosen your tie and take some fun and flirty pictures! Wives, throw your husbands in a suit and email me! You will love this package and it can also be used as a “trash the dress” session if you feel like getting REALLY causal with it ๐Ÿ™‚ Enjoy these pictures of Kimberly and Gene at Boone Hall Plantation! Such a beautiful place. I may have missed my girl Blake Lively’s recent nuptials there (does anyone else love Gossip Girl like I do?!?)ย but I will return to shoot Sarah-Katherine and Jo’s wedding there next April!

Mr. and Mrs. John Allen

Congrats to Neely and John on their September 8th wedding! This couple already has their wedding photographs but I wanted to share some with you all as well. This was such a fun wedding, even with the rain! I met the couple at their venue back in the spring for engagement pictures and fell in love with both them, and the place. The wedding and reception all took place on the lawn of Hightower Hall in Rock Hill (well technically Brattonsville, we all know how SC’s small towns are) It was a beautiful day while we prepared for the wedding and the ceremony was dry as a bone, but we did catch a tiny bit of rain before they said I DO. Everyone stayed calm and with a little prayer from the bride and bridesmaids, the weather cooperated for a perfect outdoor wedding for the rest of the evening! At most weddings, the dance floor stays pretty vacant until after everyones eaten and gotten in the party mood but not this one. People were dancing from the minute it started! Everyone had so much fun and I even got to catch up with my college old pals, the Darby sisters! Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Allen!! Hope the honeymoon was fun and you love the pictures as much as I do!
