Libby Sigmon – 6 months

Hi!! Goodness I have been ignoring this blog for a very long time! It’s all been going up on facebook, but this website looks a little sad! At least that means work is so popular that I don’t even have a second to blog 🙂 I’m going to try and throw a few up tonight and tomorrow. First up is Libby! Such a sweet, beautiful baby girl! She was born right around the time I got married last December. I was unable to do her newborn shoot, but I enjoyed meeting her at 6 months. Her parents are fabulous, too! I had a great time with them and hope you all enjoy sweet L’s photos!

Miriam and Ben are engaged!

Congrats to the future Mr. and Mrs. Covar! These cuties are getting married in September in Charleston and I was thrilled when she asked me to be their photographer. They are both so photogenic and I had a blast working with them. I cannot wait for this fall, lowcountry wedding. I just KNOW it will be one of the most beautiful weddings I have ever done. I have had so many people ask me where these pictures were taken. We shot these at her grandmothers house in Modoc, SC. The red barn and the open fields were just perfect for these photos. The cherry on top was the old VW beetle with the tin cans and the “getting married” sign. Such a cute idea! Such creative photographs…and most of the ideas came from the bride! I love working with people like her. It makes my job easy and the photos unique to the couple. Enjoy these! Congrats again M+B!

Philip is one!!

Happy Birthday Philip Berglind!! This BEAUTIFUL baby is my cousins little boy and he will be one this weekend! I mean, he is just the most adorable boy I’ve ever seen and that is not a biased family comment – his parents are told that all the time! He is having a sock monkey birthday party which I love! I let him wear a little sock monkey hat for his newborn photos so they are sticking with that theme for the party. Sock monkeys are my favorite children’s toy, so I am so glad his Aunt Lollie (he’s technically my second cousin but that sounds so lame!) started a tradition for him! Enjoy your party Saturday, cutie pie! Love you!

Miss Amelia Salman

LMP’s newest fan, Amelia, is too cute for words! I love babies with lots of dark hair and it was guaranteed that she would have tons if you know her sweet sister, Adeline! Their  mother Jenny says they almost look like twins and without a doubt look exactly like their daddy! I have photographed Adeline before a few times and each time she warmed up a little more to me. Well, at this last session she was more than warm! She was so playful and fun! It was almost hard to get any still pictures of her! Don’t worry Adeline, your two year old portraits are coming up in a month and it will be your turn to be the model 🙂 I cannot wait to watch these two cute sisters grow and hopefully photograph them all along the way!

The future Mr. and Mrs. Rapoport

We have met Abbie and Todd before when I got to photograph Todd’s sweet proposal to Abbie in February – I mean I cried like a baby! I have known Abbie for a few years from when we worked together at my job before I started LMP. My favorite memory of her is definitely is when my husband and I drove all the way to Clemson late at night to surprise her for her 21st birthday. That was a fun night 🙂 Her precious fiance Todd is such a great guy and has treated me like a friend since the day I met him. I got to watch her and Todd go from a cute college couple to the cutest engaged folks ever! I am so happy for them and was OVER THE MOON when she asked me to shoot her wedding. It was definitely a job I didn’t want to miss because it will not feel like a work day when they tie the knot in January. These pictures were taken in Clemson and we even got on her little boat for a few. I have known a lot of the customers who have used me to shoot their weddings in the past, but these people are my friends. It is such a joy when your friends think you are so talented and want you to be the one to capture your special day! I love it! Cannot WAIT for this wedding and wish Abbie and Todd the best!
